Dwell Ministry, PC is a private, group practice providing therapy services in Greensboro, Cary, and virtually throughout North Carolina. Our mission is to equip the community through psychologically informed, biblically grounded resources and evidence-based strategies to create dwelling places filled with Gospel-focused, healthy relationships. What Dwell Offers
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Intake Coordinator to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience. The Intake Coordinator ensures the smooth onboarding of clients by managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with our therapists. Additionally, the Intake Coordinator will provide billing support for clients and therapists. While this is a part-time position, there is room to grow into more responsibility and leadership.
We are looking for individuals who are excited to learn and implement processes effectively and efficiently. As a young organization, we would welcome an individual with administrative experience to refine our existing procedures to create a more effective onboarding experience for clients. Our ideal candidate would have an engaging personality, have excellent attention to detail, and be excited to further the mission of Dwell. To be successful in this position, an ideal candidate would be a self-starter who knows how to take initiative with a willingness to communicate and contribute to a team mentality.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the initial contact for prospective clients via phone, email, or online inquiries.
Conduct brief client assessments to match them with appropriate therapists based on their needs.
Schedule initial appointments and maintain accurate client records in our electronic health system.
Verify insurance benefits and provide clients with clear information about fees and coverage.
Provide billing support for clients and therapists.
Collaborate with therapists and administrative staff to ensure smooth communication and scheduling.
Follow up with prospective clients to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
Contribute to a team mindset with a positive attitude that reflects Jesus.
Hours Required
This is a remote, part-time position, with 8-10 hours of work per week. The position can be flexible to accommodate a stay-at-home parent or student scheduling. Consistency will be required, but flexibility is provided.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following:
High school diploma
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with scheduling software, electronic health records, Microsoft programs, and basic office tools.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
A reliable computer with audiovisual capabilities and internet access.
Preference will be given to applicants with these qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare or mental health setting.
Familiarity with insurance verification processes, billing systems, and EHR technology
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
A passion for Christian faith integration in the workplace
