Have you ever felt desperate enough to do something you’d never considered before? Have you ever been so scared for your child that you felt like a failure and completely powerless to help? Have you ever wondered if there is hope for something better—or if you could ever feel like yourself again after everything you’ve been through?

Hi, I’m Bethany, and I’m so glad you stopped here on my page! This is where I thrive–right in the heart of chaos and crisis. Not because I love chaos (who does?), but because I know what it’s like to be there. Whether you’re navigating a child’s mental health crisis, walking through grief and loss, or adjusting to the overwhelming transitions of motherhood, having someone who can see through the fog and help you find your footing again is invaluable. I can help you and your family stabilize, create a plan to move forward, and begin to rebuild daily life with safety, hope, and renewed purpose.

I am passionate about walking alongside youth, young adults, and women as they navigate challenging emotions, life transitions, and the ongoing process of healing. Sometimes this means addressing suicidal thoughts or self-harm. Sometimes it means learning how to live again after a significant loss. And sometimes, it means supporting moms who feel stretched thin, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they are in this new season of life. Together, we can begin to make sense of what you’re carrying and create a path toward the life you want to live—tackling everything from anxiety and depression to past trauma and fears about the future.

As a Christian counselor, I believe that every person is made in the image of God and carries a unique story. Because of this, I approach therapy with a deep respect for each individual’s journey. I create personalized treatment plans that integrate faith with evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), encouraging growth, emotional regulation, and a love for the life you have (and hope for the one you want).

For a little more of the nitty gritty of my background, I earned my Master’s in Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2021 and am a National Certified Counselor trained in trauma and grief  informed care. My work is rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and the belief that lasting change happens when faith and therapy walk hand in hand.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy life with my husband, our three kids, and our two dogs. I love a good thrift find, curling up with a book and a chai latte, and cheering on Liberty University football—Go Flames!

I’m glad that you’re here, no matter what your story holds and no matter what you’re feeling in this moment as you consider what it would be like to take the next step in your journey. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, where you can explore your own story with all of its ups and downs, and where you can begin a new chapter–full of hope for what is to come. I’d be honored to be a part of your journey!
