Do you find yourself wishing there was a handbook on how exactly to navigate adulthood? Wondering if everyone knows what they’re doing except for you? Hoping there might be a better option than white knuckling it and faking it ‘til you make it? I can assure you that you are not alone. So much of life feels like trial and error and like we’re forced outside of our comfort zones over and over. While you may feel like therapy is far outside of your comfort zone, it really is meant to be a support during those times when everything feels shaky. I can confidently tell you that you won’t be alone for any of it– I am here to walk alongside you through the whole process.

Hi, I’m Autumn!

Whether it’s your first time stepping boldly toward healing and growth or something that you have tried before– welcome. I am so glad you are here and honored to be a trusted companion on your journey! Walking into adulthood can feel daunting and comes with a multitude of responsibilities and countless transitions (it’s actually incredible that we’re asked to face living on our own, college, careers, paying bills, insurance, relationships– sometimes suddenly and all at once!). And beyond that, life is filled with transitions, challenges, and seasons that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck. In a culture that constantly pushes us to do more, achieve more, and keep up, many of us find ourselves living with little margin– feeling hurried, stretched thin, and perpetually behind.

I am passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and self-understanding. Whether you're facing a significant life transition, struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the pressures and expectations of everyday life, I can be a guide and an anchor as you discover your goals and become the person you want to be, and pursue the future you envision for yourself. I strive to provide a supportive space where you can slow down, process your experiences, and develop practical tools for lasting growth. My hope is to be both a guide and a steady presence as you work toward healing, resilience, and a life that feels more aligned with your values, goals, and sense of purpose.

I aim to create an individualized approach through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused methodologies. If you so desire, we can also weave Biblically grounded truth into our work together, encouraging identification of strengths to help you pursue and achieve results. However, integration of faith-based intervention is completely at your discretion– you decide how much or how little to incorporate faith into your journey. I strive to ensure a person-centered and trauma-informed approach that will enable you to actively collaborate. I always see us as a team, working together to achieve your goals. I prioritize maintaining a space that provides clinically excellent services and a warm environment that both validates and supports you throughout this courageous journey.

A little more background on me: I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2022 and a Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University in 2026. Outside of the job I love, I am an avid coffee drinker and plant lover. I also enjoy spending time outdoors– kayaking and hiking, and spending time with my family and friends.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward growth and healing, this might be a great place to start. It’s okay to be hesitant, even scared, and to wonder if this could possibly help. I can promise you two things: 1. There is always hope, even when you question it with every fiber of your being. And 2. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.

Whenever you're ready, let's get started.
