Lauren Bowman, LCMHC

Co-Founder | Clinical Therapist & Educator | Certified Clinical Trauma Professional

Life transitions, unexpected challenges, and complicated relationships often push us to reassess our priorities and approach to life. These moments of reflection can be daunting but also transformative. Lauren specializes in guiding adults through these pivotal times, helping them not only overcome obstacles but emerge stronger, more confident, and ready to thrive. She believes that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth, and her compassionate, collaborative approach empowers clients to embrace change and move forward with purpose.

In individual therapy, Lauren works closely with her clients to develop a customized plan tailored to their unique needs and aspirations. She understands that every person’s journey is different, which is why she takes the time to truly listen and create a space where her clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether addressing personal struggles, career challenges, or interpersonal dynamics, Lauren’s goal is to help individuals build resilience and rediscover their inner strength.

Lauren is passionate about relationship-focused therapy, where she helps couples, marriages, and families navigate the complexities of human connection. Relationships can be messy, emotional, and sometimes overwhelming, but they don’t have to be a source of constant stress or conflict. Lauren approaches her work with a deep sense of hope, using proven techniques to help her clients foster understanding, trust, and joy in their relationships.

Lauren integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to create a therapy experience that is both effective and transformative. Through these tools, she helps clients move beyond surface-level issues to address the deeper emotional patterns that shape their relationships.

For couples, Lauren’s work often involves helping partners see beyond day-to-day frustrations to truly understand and connect with each other’s hearts. Using principles from EFT and the Gottman Method, she supports couples in building a foundation of trust and mutual respect. Communication improves not just through practical tools but through a profound shift in perspective, where partners begin to see each other with greater empathy and compassion.

Lauren believes that strong families are the cornerstone of a thriving society, and healthy marriages form the foundation of those families. A resilient, loving partnership not only benefits the couple but also creates a ripple effect that extends to children, extended family, and the broader community. The impact of cultivating a marriage that reflects the love of God for His people is far-reaching and unlimited in its ministry capacity. In her work, Lauren inspires couples to create partnerships that are not only functional but deeply fulfilling—relationships that are life-giving and joy-filled, even in the face of life’s inevitable challenges.

Therapy with Lauren is not just about solving problems; it’s about building a vision for the future. Through her warm, insightful, and hope-filled approach, Lauren equips her clients with the confidence to create meaningful relationships, lasting habits, and cherished memories. Whether working with individuals or families, her ultimate goal is to empower people to live with intention, connection, and a sense of possibility.
